Error 3001

Symptom: When running ForecastX, a user gets the following message:

Procast failed!
ForecastX generated the following error:
Error: 3001
Error Desc: Illegal numHistoricalValues. This can be caused by big seasonal length.

Solution

The data set may have series that due to its small number of historical periods, caused some of the statistics used in the audit report to fail.

To solve this, please follow these steps:

1. Open Forecast X, in the Data Capture tab, please click on Data Cleansing.

2. Go to the Remove Zeroes section, uncheck both options and click Ok.



3. Run the report.
